What can you expect at the workshop?

  • An introduction to Participatory Budgeting (PB) a flexible engagement and decision-making tool giving citizens a direct say in how public funds are used to address local needs.
  • Hear about good practice examples of PB - including local practice from Communities Leading Change, Newry Mourne and Down Community Planning Partnership.
  • Explore how Participatory Budgeting can link with and enhance engagement in community planning processes.
  • Opportunity to join the PB Works Network or become a PB Champion.
