Sharing the Learning Event

Sharing the Learning Event

There was a palpable energy in the room at the PB Works 'Sharing the Learning' Event on Wednesday, 28 November 2018. Louise Warde Hunter, Deputy Secretary for Housing and Urban Regeneration, Department for Communities provided poignant opening remarks highlighting the importance of embedding meaningful participation and the innovative approach which PB offers in engaging with communities.

It was fantastic to hear from all of the PB Trailblazers from around the region including: Rathlin's 'Grugach's Gold'; The Waste No Time Project's 'Big Dish Out'; Newry Mourne and Down's 'Communities Leading Change'; Fermanagh and Omagh's 'Community Cash'; Parent Action's 'Getting our Voices Heard' ; and Triangle Housing Association's 'Voting for Fun'.

Dr. Andrew Grounds from Queen's University presented the findings of an Impact and Evaluation Report on the work of the PB Works Project - the final report will be available on the website soon.
